The two main schools of though are that 2012 is undoubtedly the end of the world and that 2012 is actually a age of enlightenment.

December 2012 is actually not suppose to be feared. It is instead suppose to cause a great positive shift in global consciousness that will benefit mankind.

Other people are predictions are that a giant Planet X will crash into earth and/or that the polar changes will cause large natural disasters to ripple throughout the earth including tsunamis, earthquakes, rising water levels, mountains collapsing and super volcanoes. Because of these factors the most dangerous places to live on earth include – Europe, Asia, Canada, Australia and the United States.
Nostradamus, who lived from 1503 – 1566, is one of histories most famous seers. It is interesting to note that in Nostradamus’ book of predictions continue well beyond the year 2012.
