Surviving 2012

Surviving 2012 can seem like an enormous task if you don’t know where to start. But keep these three things in mind and you will be sure that you will be alive and well after December 2012.

Surviving 2012 Tip #1 – Location

Where you live and happen to be when 2012 occurs is one of the most important things that you can do for 2012 survival.

Stay away from cities and countries where there are nuclear power plants, that are near volcanoes, fault lines, and near the sea. You want to be at least 2000m above sea level to avoid the floods and tsunami waves.

Surviving 2012 Tip #2 – Be Prepared

You will need food for yourself for at least a year. Dried meats, vegetables and fruits are a great idea. You will also need an unsinkable boat and basic survival gear such as a first aid kit, walk talkies, batteries, lanterns, flares, hunting equipment, lots of fireproof matches and a portable water filtration system with lots of filters.

Depending on where you are you will also need adequate clothing such as water proof boots, waterproof jackets, blankets, tents, sleeping bags, winter jackets etc.

Surviving 2012 Tip #3 – Rebuilding

As much of the world is suppose to be gone after 2012, as a survivor you will have the duty of rebuilding, restarting civilization and most likely helping repopulate it

Seeds to start a garden will be necessary. As will books on subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, gardening, medicine, dentistry, math, economics, knitting…etc.
